LibreOffice will now accept using a Java that is a symlink (Lionel Elie Mamane, from a Debian/oo-build patch) Support for Java 7 (1.7) added. User can select between Java 6 or 7 engine, if both are installed.
I like to keep 5 or 6 spreadsheets open all the time. Currently on LibreOffice 6.1.1.2 (x64) Since about 3 months and 2 updates ago, it keeps going unresponsive and I have to shut it down, several times a week. I do use hibernate on Windows 10 but not sure if that is causing the problem. The laptop is only otherwise used for browsing. The spreadsheets are not big and nothing special.
A few basic formulae and one spreadsheet has a basic chart. The only other problem I also only recently noticed is that one formula has a delayed update, so I have to change a cell value, a second time, for the formula to be up-to-date, otherwise it reflects the previous value. I'm thinking of trying an alternative to LibreOffice but would be shame if there is a simple solution to going unresponsive. Any suggestions? (or confrmation if it is a known issue) EDIT to add: It is after a period of having LibreOffice minimized and I try to 'restore' the window, that it goes not responding. Thanks for reply.
I remember seeing the two options when I updated last, so no I haven't tried 6.0.6 but given that it happened with the previous AND later versions, I'm not sure that would help? I haven't narrowed it down to having less than 5 or 6 open so don't know about that. Strangely, it normally only happens every couple of days but I only restarted OpenOffice about an hour ago and when I saw your post, I 'restored' a minimized LibreOffice window, went to Help- About, to check version numbers, it is now 'not responding' again already and has been now for 9 minutes, so yes I have waited it out.
[It is now 30 minutes and still 'not responding' and using 48% cpu]. I had wondered if windows hibernating was causing it but that hasn't happened since I last restarted so can rule that out now. Download game anak pc. I'm thinking of switching to OpenOffice, unless any other suggestions???
Hi, Long time ago, I did an implementation of 3D transitions on Mac OS X, using OpenGL, means hardware acceleration on Mac OS X (starting 10.4). I verified one minute ago the checkbox is ok, and so far, the Hardware Acceleration on the Mac works with my implementation If you want to test, I'd suggest you to try the 'ogltrans4mac' build I did some times ago. The link: (search for ogltrans4mac ) More information about my work: In fact, the Mac OS X community never provided any feedback, nor any thank you, nor anything, thus, the idea get never integrated (and I gave up with that since).
The blog entries: Anyway, I'll integrate it into OOo4Kids soon (please note this will be done soon but it is *not* yet done): Further information about OOo4Kids: Eric Bachard [edit: fixed typos and added my blog entry as link for further information].
